Too often professional development for teachers feels like an add-on, leaving them overwhelmed and simply wanting more time to explore for themselves what they can integrate into their classroom for student learning improvement. This course is designed to be a professional development framework that empowers the individual teacher to research and implement new teaching practices to improve student learning.  This course becomes a mini action-research project that gives personal attention on what each educator needs to focus on make an impact in student learning.

The structure of the course is set up as multiple camps along a mountain. There are many ways up the mountain and the journey is not necessarily sequential.
